They have pulled there shanties off of Green Lake yesterday and are waiting for the cold weather to make the ice safe again. It was two layers of ice and most where going though the top layer yesterday

Michigan Ice Open’s Youth Fishing School Registration is open. The Youth Fishing School will take place on February 3. This event is free, but registration is required. Based on the popularity of the event there will be two sessions offered, 10am and 12pm, with availabilityfor 50 kids per session. Download the application here and send it to the Chamber of Commerce, 5300 W US 10 Ludington, MI 49431, or fax it to 231-845-6857.

 

Registration for the Michigan Ice Open is open. You can register by calling 231-845-0324 or by downloading an registration form and faxing it to 231-845-6857 or mailing it to 5300 West US 10 Ludington, MI 49431. Line-up for the tournament will be based on the order of registration, so get yours in early! Call the Chamber for registration questions.

Access point to Hamlin Lake at Victory Park Landing

Parking lot at Victory Park Landing will open at 6am. No participants are allowed into the lot prior to 6am.

Bucket check and line-up will begin at 6:30am.

 

Michigan Ice Open Weigh-In- 3:30pm with awards to follow

Youth Fishing School

Two sessions will be offered 10am & 12pm

There is a limit of 50 kids per session and pre-registration is required for this FREE event.
