Great crowd everywhere it seems out ice fishing today. Some had luck others said it was slow.
HIggins Lake is reporting lots of keeper perch this year with a few jumbo’s, but this is the best bite in many years. Good pike and lake trout also. smelt are far and few so far.
Houghton Lake has a great walleye bite and lots of blues were sold today. Middle Grounds has been great but slush is Hampering travel out there
Lyman’s on the Lake reports there is about 20+ inches of ice on the lake with about 3-6 inches of slush on top. Rough lake surfaces. Pike walleye and perch being caught on the south shore and east bay. Yes, walleye coming out of our rental shanty’s.

This morning at Miller’s Corner there was a herd of guys heading out on Missaukee with reports of fish finally biting the last couple days.
Wixom and Secord are both hot for gills and crappie.
Lake Cadillac had about two hundred guys off of Kenwood park and the crappies are biting.
Duck Lake by Interlochen off Strawberry Point were catching pike and gills.
Long Lake by Traverse had a ton of guys out but have not heard a report
