Full Moon Slows Deer Movement During Shooting Hours
Midland County- I was just getting ready to call it a night as the deer activity was really slow with high winds and a harvest moon. I snapped a shot of the moon and my eye caught some movement of huge antlers above the grass-line. I waited until the huge rutting buck stood motionless and squeezed the shutter and got the photo as it was dark.
The photo of the moon was shot before the buck photo. A big help from lightroom to process raw images and it came out fair shooting over 300 yards almost dark .
