Fall Weather Slow Fishing

The fall weather has slowed fishing on inland lakes this week as rain and wind have kept most off inland lakes. Stream fishing has been good as salmon are pushing up the river to spawn. Steelhead should be following shortly to eat the salmon eggs.
Here is a photo I took the other day as this truck caught my attention.
FISHING CONDITIONS ON LAKES CADILLAC AND MITCHELL
FROM PILGRIM VILLAGE FISHING SHOP
Fishing pressure on Mitchell and Cadillac has been light. There is so much to do this time of year. Choose from small game hunting, salmon fishing and now archery deer opens October 1st. Not to mention the duck and goose opener October 4th in our area.
Panfish, best action is coming to those fishing live bait along the weeds. Crappies are hitting small minnows; bluegills use waxworms, Leafworms or crickets. A fair number of perch are being caught in 15 foot of water near the Four Winns Test Center.
