Higgins Lake is Froze Over
Higgins Lake has a couple of open spots off the North State Park, but off the West Access it looking good. Some are going out tonight for smelt and hope to have good results. They are catching rainbows in the shallow water off the west access site and in front of Big Creek. It will be good by the weekend for perch and smelt fishing.
