Long Lake
Long Lake by Traverse City is starting with three inches of ice. They are catching walleye but they are on the small side. Blues and small suckers working best.
Lake Leelanau south-end has ice have not heard thickness, but they are catching a few fish.
A few are getting out on Fife Lake with a few perch being caught, keep an eye out on that lake as the perch fishing could get hot first ice when they can get out to the deeper water.
