Many are Out for the Last Hurrah

image

With the 15th coming fast many are out trying their luck with the warmer weather for pike and walleye. I have not heard any glowing reports, but many are claiming the bite has got better the last two days.

Grand Traverse bay has been fair but ice will go in a hurry with any wind. Walleye and perch off the mouth of the Boardman, and East Bay whitefish, lake trout and perch.

Walleye are reports are good on Houghton Lake with the bite getting real good with the warmer weather.

Bay City State Park is the hotspot in the state for walleye as they are going out two miles and just getting limits of nice fish.
