Most Shallow Lake are getting four to six inches of ice
Fife Lake- I was at Fife Lake today and the ice has been over for a week but very few out on the ice yet. It is always a great place for big perch on that first ice.
Wiggins Lake by Gladwin is reporting a great panfish bite as the waxworms are flying out of Chappel Dam Grocery.
Fishing has been good around Leroy and Reed City for panfish and pike.
Spider Lake by Traverse is starting to get a gill bite the last couple days.
