What a Nice Day

image

Many took advantage of the awesome day we had and caught fish. The warm weather has turned on the fish with reports of gills starting to bite.

Houghton Lake is finally reporting a gill bite the last few days, but it a early morning or dusk bite right now. Waxworms are working best.

Steelhead are showing up the last few day at Tippy and a few other rivers are starting to see some fish.

Perch are still biting in Ludington, and Manistee. Have not heard much about Frankfort, but Crystal Lake is still very good for smelt and perch.
