Crystal Lake off of Lobb Rd.they are catching big smelt in 40 feet of water on waxworms and hali jigs.
Weather has been brutal the last two days with very few fishing. Along the lakeshore anywhere from 6 to 18 inches of snow which is on the lakes making things worse with slush.
Will hear more next week how lakes fared with the snow but we sure need a warm up to get the snow back down to the ice.
Most people were digging out today with side roads unplowed and some plugged so not much fishing today, but tomorrow wind is suppose to die down but still will be cold. Most places are reporting very slow this weekend, off of Lobb Rd. on Crystal lake they are catching big smelt in 40 feet of water.
