A good run of Two Year old coho are up to Tippy Dam this week, also this week should be a great week for steelhead fishing as the warm temperatures will increase catch rates. Some really nice fish have been caught below Tippy Dam by those fly fishing, spawn, waxworms or pitching small spoons.

I have had reports of fair steelhead fishing on the Betsie, Tippy Dam and Boardman with spawn and waxworms.

A few boats were out on Long this morning after walleye and perch and report fair success. Hopefully we will get cold soon for ice fishing
