Grand Traverse Bay has been great for lake trout and whitefish on both east and west bays. Jigging and tip ups with greys has been a great combo. Whitefish with a sand kickers, spawn and perch minnows. Some perch are being caught but they are very tight lipped about the locations.

Crystal lake is still has a bite on the jumbo smelt, green lake has reports of smelt starting to bite again and some say they are catching 100 a night but I have not confirmed this with a smelt fry.
