Bait-shops in Charlevoix and Emmet County
Charlevoix County is unique that the three tourist centers in the county Charlevoix Boyne City, and East Jordan can be access from Lake Charlevoix. Also you can access them from Lake Michigan. Beaver Island ferry runs also out of Charlevoix. Also there is the Ironton Ferry that saves you time going to Boyne City, also Ironton on Lake Charlevoix is a hots pot for perch in the spring and fall with wigglers being the bait of choice. Emmet County has the gigantic Mackinaw Bridge. Petoskey is the largest city in this county. Crooked lake is the featured lake that most the anglers fish for walleyes. Little Traverse Bay is a hotspot for salmon and lake trout in the spring and summer. Wilderness State Park on Lake Michigan is a must see it is just breath taking.These two counties have lots of lakes and streams teaming with trout |
